Corona Virus unable to beat this 103 year old!

Josephine Silo,103 years of age from our Home in Dublin, recovered from the corona virus!  Asked by a journalist from the Irish Times what was her secret of a long life, she replied: “I never married, smoked or drank and I went to Mass every day.  I love having my hair nicely done and tinted black and when I put on my red lipstick I feel good.”  Following this article, a shop sent her a packet of red lipstick, just the brand she uses!  The following week a TV station asked to interview her.  This interview took place in the garden at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. When the Angelus rang, the crew had to wait for Josie to pray…”I pray for my nieces and for so man people who have no job…”  This testimony of vitality and faith impressed many.

Our Mission is to offer the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be welcomed as Christ, cared for as family and accompanied with dignity until God calls them to himself.

We adhere at all times to the Philosophy, Ethics and Moral Law of the Catholic Church, from whom the Congregation has received its mission.
