MELBOURNE Extensive renovations to this Home were completed in late 2015. This provided larger rooms with facilities to implement Ageing in Place. This 50 bed facility now provides all single rooms and individual ensuites. There is an area in each room for tea making facilities. The room is large enough to create a sitting area for visitors

In the Home, one large dining room serves all Residents and has ample space for wheelchairs and walking aids. With an awareness of ecological issues-and a subsidy from the Darebin Council, the extensive grounds now include a vegetable garden where Residents participate with their ideas, advice and planting. Watching the vegetables and fruit grow, and later finding them on the table has been a great interest and incentive to find ways to improve our environment.

A unique feature of this Home is the museum area where the first farm house and chapel stand.

PERTH To respond to the times, the old Glendalough home was rebuilt and opened on 24th July 2019. This Home features a purpose-built modern facility with exceptional features such as a street scape -where rooms open up to a corridor similar to a street complete with gardens, benches and street lights. Residents can enjoy the newly landscaped gardens and courtyards that surround the Home providing pleasant outdoor areas including a large barbeque gathering area that families are welcome to use.

SYDNEY - Mount St Joseph’ Home is located in the New South Wales suburb of Randwick. The old Home, which in 1886 had the best in fire equipment, was considered a fire trap in 1980. It was demolished and a new modern facility was built and opened in 1987. In 2017 it was again time to update and extensive renovations were completed in July 2017. The Home now accommodates 62 residents.

All bedrooms are standard Single rooms with private ensuites. Each room has a large window overlooking a courtyard or garden. All rooms have an emergency call bell system, electric bed, built-in wardrobe, and free standing furniture. The expansive gardens include shaded courtyards for entertaining
