Pricing Information

This information applies to new residents entering care from 1st July 2014.

Little Sisters of the Poor care for those in need especially the financially poor. Priority for admission will be given to the poorest. In the exceptional circumstance that a resident has the capacity to pay an accommodation payment, for example a person experiencing other forms of poverty, they may choose to pay for their accommodation by refundable deposit, a daily payment, or a combination of both.

Pricing Guidelines effective as of 1st January 2025

All room types at the Little Sisters of The Poor Homes are priced the same. The following amounts are the maximum you will be charged if you are not eligible for a Government subsidy. There are three payment options to choose from:

Refundable accommodation deposit (paid as a lump sum) – The maximum refundable accommodation deposit you will be charged is $250,000.00.
Daily accommodation payment – $57.67 per day – This is based on the Maximum Permissible Interest Rate of 8.42% which is set by the government.
Combination of refundable accommodation deposit and daily payment – 50% of your payment as a refundable accommodation deposit and 50% as a daily payment, your deposit will be $125,000.00 and your daily payment will be $28.84
