Pray for New Caledonia

Our community and all the people of New Caledonia are in need of our prayerful support.

Since the 13 May, acts of violence have rocked the territory destroying many buildings including homes, businesses and schools. The tense political situation at the foundation of this outbreak shows little sign of easing.

Food and medical supplies have become scarce as access to the territory is limited. Our sisters, residents and staff are courageous but face much uncertainty.

Let us pray that a peaceful path forward made be forged by dialogue. May all parties have a desire to see the violence end. May this beautiful territory be healed definitively

of the many wounds inflicted by these tensions.
